Almost every faction has a unique roster of quality that mimics that of an official expansion. Some time and care went into this and it shows.

Starting from the top, this mod lets you play as the majority of the minor factions during Empire's timeline and some emergent factions like Scotland or Greece. If this was done with Napoleon or Shogun 2 I would praise based modder team over the fire and flames! Sadly this is not the case, however it is still a very welcome addition to Empire.Minor factions revenge is a mod that everyone should try at least once, but sadly there are some minor niggles and nitpicks that is most likely going to anger some people. Also there's the problem with Empire's overwhelmingly annoying tendency to crash during either a loading screen or during an A-A-R. Other than the pirates, its really an entertaining mod that adds far more playibility than say a skin pack would or a name changer would. The have a naval roster that can literally only be described as either OP or stupid depending on how you use ships and depending on when you use steamships and how. The exception to this, and the thing that may or may not anger some people is the pirates.
